Welcome to my world of creativity...

I am Keya Fox, and since I was a little one I have always loved a good crafting session. I have spent much of my life making art and trying to find new ways to flex my artistic muscles. Drawing, painting, jewelry making, photography, glassblowing, silversmithing, ceramics, screen printing, sewing, crocheting, sculpting are some examples of mediums that I have studied and explored over the years.

For the past 20+ years I have had the honor of calling Hawai’i my home. I came out for college, and have lived here ever since. I worked various jobs over the years to pay the bills, while always carrying a deep soul yearning to somehow turn my life’s work into art. I have done the side hustle art gig off and on for years, running an Etsy shop selling my Jewelry and doing paintings here and there on a commission basis. During this time I also worked as a substitute teacher for many years in a school focused on Hawaiian culture and values. The experience gave me a great deal of understanding & reverence for the people, culture, land, and spirit of Hawai’i.

Beyond Hawai’i, traveling & cultural immersion have always been near and dear to my heart. My times spent abroad are experiences that I cherish and have certainly impacted the evolution of my creations over the years.

Healing & Spirituality are two other common threads woven into the tapestry of my creations you will see here, both having become an integral part of my daily existence.

In the past few years I have taken a step back from my “work life” to focus on creating a family. Last year I gave birth to a long awaited and most beautiful blessing, my daughter. She is incredible, and I have felt so honored & fortunate to be able to spend this first chunk of her life truly focusing on this new chapter of being her mama. Such joy. Now that she is becoming more independent (well as much as a 1yr old can be) I am feeling the call to create more, and to begin to share more of what I have been quietly working on for years… with you all out there.   

My vision & goal here is to build a website that showcases my interests, creations, and values… basically my life in the form of my art. I have a vast collection of work that feels ready to put out there.

This will take me some time to gather and upload, so bear with me as I unfurl here in the cyber realm…
