Flowers have always been my teachers. Since I was little I can always remember being particularly drawn to them. As an adult I have come to understand that the natural world holds a particular kind of wisdom — patient, generous, and always exactly what we need.
Flower essences are simply a way of listening more carefully. They are a way of attuning ourselves to the deep wisdom of the natural world, and allowing nature to bypass our busy minds and speak directly to our own soul’s wisdom.
They can give us gentle reminders of what some of the harsher realities in life have forced us to forget — that “we are safe, we are loved, we are worthy, we are capable” — and they can help us see more clearly when we are placing ourselves in situations where we may not ultimately be safe or supported in our own unique quest for fulfillment in life.
